Being the first in my family to attend college, the process of choosing a college and being accepted to college were dreams come true. Even though I was filled with joy and happiness, I was also becoming very worried and stressed about being able to afford all the important essentials I needed in order to succeed in college. To the Top with Laptops provided me with the greatest gift any college student could ever ask for, a brand new laptop and a printer. This laptop and printer have become very important elements towards achieving success throughout my college career. I am extremely grateful to the Drechsler family for giving me, along with many other college students, the necessities in order to have a successful college career.

Dear Mr. Drechsler,

I cannot thank you enough for the amazing opportunity that you have given me. Receiving this laptop has been like a dream come true for me. From the moment I came to the United States, I was absolutely fascinated by technology and I knew that I wanted to study computers. As the years went by, I started to learn more and more about all the different types of computers that were out on the market. I always wanted to purchase one, but it was impossible for me to do that. My family has always been in a very tough financial situation, so my brothers and I always had to settle for necessities and no luxuries. Being the first in my family to attend college, I did not know what to expect or what to hope for but I’m extremely excited to have gotten a brand new laptop with all the necessary software for college. When I heard my name being called for this laptop on scholarship night, my heart skipped a beat and I was in complete shock. It was as if all my prayers were answered and I was unable to contain myself. I felt extremely blessed and lucky to have gotten this very necessary and amazing gift. You have no idea how much you have helped my family and me. Now that I have a laptop, I will be able to use the money that I was saving up to purchase all my books for all my classes and towards my tuition. A couple of months ago, I read an article in the paper about your son, Alex, and I was astounded by the great acts that he has committed. He might not realize it, but he is truly an amazing and very gifted person. He has been blessed with a great heart and amazing amounts of compassion. Alex, thank you so much man and I hope that one day you will realize just how much you have helped me. Mr. Drechsler, I want to wish your son, Alex, and the rest of your family the best of luck in the future and I hope that life rewards all of you for all that you have done. Again, thank you so much for this incredible gift and your unforgettable act of kindness.
