Winning the new laptop and printer (which is also a scanner and fax!) made me very happy! It has helped me a lot in college. A laptop for a college student is a must. Many of my college professors want almost everything done on the computer. "Typed, double-spaced, 12 size font" is what my teachers say when they are assigning an essay or report. Thanks to this laptop, I was able to do my Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and essays during my free time because of how portal a laptop is. In all my PowerPoints I got 100! When I'm finished I print it on my new printer. This printer is really something! It's 3 in 1!! It's a printer, scanner and fax! The scanner has been a big help! When I had chemistry labs to do I would scan the chemistry lab form, transfer it to Microsoft Word and I would simply type instead of writing. I got 90s and 100s on my Chemistry labs. Whenever I can I do everything on computer. The laptop and printer have really helped me in my college career so far.

Many college students can’t afford to buy a laptop or a printer, especially during this economical recession. Thanks to the Drechsler Family I have a laptop and a printer that helps me a great deal in college! I give all of my thanks to the Drechsler Family!

Dear Mr. Robert H. Drechsler,

Thank you so much for the scholarship (To The Top with Laptops) laptop and printer you have given me. This scholarship has affected me financially and personally! Thanks to you my dream of becoming a Mechanical Engineer and working with cars is becoming more of a reality.

I really needed a laptop and a printer. You helped me because my father wasn’t sure if he could afford a laptop for college. When I heard my name called for this scholarship I wanted to jump up so high. My smile was so big my sister said that it looked like the first time I tasted candy. By giving me this scholarship, you boosted my confidence.

In the future I want to be a mechanical engineer and improve cars. I want to work for Honda because I have seen that they are trying to reduce emissions that harm the environment. I want to continue that because I think by helping the environment it improves our way of life, especially our health. Also I want to work for Lamborghini because they are my favorite automotive company. While working for Lamborghini I hope to build the first eco-friendly Lamborghini without ruining its image as the Italian exotic. If you were to ask any of my friends what car I would like they just spring up and would say a Lamborghini. When I accomplish these goals and more, I will always remember that it was because of you and your generosity that I have accomplished my goals and dreams.
